Electrical repairs in Calgary

Safe, sorted, and done right.

Dead outlets. Flickering lights. A switch that does nothing. Electrical quirks range from annoying to worth taking seriously, and it is not always obvious which is which. We match you with an electrician who finds the real cause and fixes it properly, with tidy work and clear pricing.

Many Calgary homes were built in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and their electrical systems show their age: worn outlets, overloaded circuits, and lighting that was never quite right. Our electricians handle the repairs and upgrades that make a home safer and more comfortable, from a single dead outlet to new fixtures throughout. And if you have been meaning to get that ceiling fan up before summer, we do that too.

Common questions

My lights flicker. Should I worry?

Flickering can be as simple as a loose bulb or as serious as a failing connection. If it is more than one light, or you notice a burning smell or warm switch plates, call/text us right away at 587-317-9242.

Can you install a ceiling fan where there is no fixture?

Often, yes. It depends on the wiring and whether the electrical box can support the weight. Our electrician will assess it and give you a clear quote before any work starts.

My breaker keeps tripping. What should I do?

A tripping breaker is doing its job, but it is telling you something. Tell us what is happening and we will match you with an electrician to find the cause and fix it safely.

Can I just do electrical work myself?

For anything beyond changing a light bulb, we recommend a professional. Electrical work done wrong can be dangerous, and some jobs need permits and inspections. It is not worth the risk.

How much will my repair cost?

Every job gets a written quote before any work starts. Some smaller jobs have a minimum charge depending on the work. You’ll always know the price before we begin.

Do you give free quotes?

Yes. Tell us about the job, photos help, and we’ll put together a written quote. No obligation.

Which areas do you serve?

Calgary and surrounding communities, including Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, and Okotoks.

Who actually does the work?

We match your job with a vetted local contractor and coordinate everything from start to finish. You deal with us, we handle the rest.

Can you install an outlet for my hot tub?

Yes. Most hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit, typically 50 or 60 amps, with the disconnect within sight of the tub but at least 3 metres away per electrical code. Our electrician will assess your panel capacity and install it to code. Every job gets a written quote before any work starts.

Do not ignore the flicker.
